内容記述 Lithium vaporization properties of sintered compacts of single-phase Li2TiO3, Li8ZrO6, -Li5AlO4, andtwo-phase -Li5AlO4-Li8ZrO6and -Li5AlO4-Li2TiO3are investigated. Li vaporization rates from the sin-tered pellets are measured by gravimetric methods, and crystalline phase changes are analyzed by X-raydiffraction. Li2TiO3is stable during thermal annealing at 900◦C. In contrast, Li is evaporated from theother materials, and -Li5AlO4and Li8ZrO6are, respectively, decomposed to LiAlO2and a mixture ofLi6Zr2O7and Li2ZrO3. Considering the high Li density, which is estimated from the Li vaporization rateand initial Li density in the pebble, and appearance stability, the sintered compacts of single-phase -Li5AlO4and the two-phase materials -Li5AlO4-Li2TiO3and -Li5AlO4-Li8ZrO6have the potential to beapplied to new advanced tritium breeders with high Li density.
