内容記述 Recent activities on heavy ion inertial fusion in Japan are reviewed in this paper. For studies on heavy ion inertial fusion, a particle accelerator development based on an induction accelerator technology, researches on space–charge–dominated beam dynamics, interaction between heavy ions and target material in warm dense matter state, a high brightness ion source development, and illumination scheme of heavy ion beams are reported.
