| 内容記述 | In ultra-intense laser-matter interactions, gamma-rays are effectively generated which are intense, collimated and having short duration. These gamma-rays propagate through the target, which results in the electron-positron pair creation. The generated positron beam has unique features such as quasi-mono-energetic with peak energy of hundreds of MeV, well-collimated, and with ultra-short duraion. From numerical simulations, the dependences of the numbers and relative energy spread on the laser and target parameters are explored, which leads to proposing of a new laser-driven positron source. | |||||
