内容記述 | The self-absorption of large volume samples is an important issue in gamma-ray spectrometrt using high purity germanium detectors. This stusy uses Monte Carlo simulations and a semiempirical fucntion to address the self-absorption correction factor for the samples in the 1000cm3 Marinelli container that has been widely marketed after accident. The presented factor was validated by experiments using test sources and was showwn to be accurate for a wide range of linear attenuation coefficients u(0.05-1.0cm-01) | |||||
