| 内容記述 | Applicability of selected transportable neutron monitors for cosmic radiation measurement in aircraft was examined; they are (1) a conventional rem meter with polyethylene moderator (NCN1), (2) an extended energy-range rem meter with moderator mixed with tungsten powders (WENDI2) and (3) a recoil-proton scintillation rem meter (PRESCILA). Excellent agreement between measured and calculated values were found in the WENDI2, whereas the observations of NCN1 were about half of the calculated H*(10) values and those of PRESCILA were much higher than predicted values. | |||||
