内容記述 Targeted alpha therapy (TAT) using astatine-211 (At-211) enables highly localized energy deposition owing to its high linear energy transfer and short particle range. However, these properties make evaluation of radionuclide distribution and dose-related information challenging, while conventional nuclear imaging is limited by the low photon emission yield of At-211.We explore a characteristic X-ray imaging approach for dose-relevant assessment in At-211 TAT. Instead of detecting alpha particles directly, the system focuses on secondary characteristic X-rays generated during decay processes, allowing for a compact imaging configuration. Monte Carlo simulations using PHITS were performed to examine the generation and spatial characteristics of these X-rays, and a prototype system is being developed with preliminary phantom studies in progress.
