内容記述 The supersulfides, RSSHs and RSSnR (n > 1, R = hydrogen, and alkyl or cyclic sulfurs), have higher antioxidant activity and nucleophilicity than the RSH. In 2010s biochemical researchers revealed that the supersulfides are abundant in living organisms and play crucial role in energy metabolism, such as sulfur respiration in mitochondria [T. Akaike et al. Nat. Commun. 2017, 8, p1177]. Quantitative analysis of the supersulfides is difficult in an aqueous environment, where biomolecules actually function, because extraction of them from the aqueous environment leads to decomposition of the –Sn– moiety into S atoms. In this work we applied tender X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) to in-situ observation of the polysulfides ions (Sn2–: n=2–4) in the aqueous solution using a XAS measurement system in atmospheric He gas. Moreover, the spectra of each Sn2– species were distinguished by a multivariate curve resolution (MCR) analysis.
