| 内容記述 | We calculated the secondary neutrons produced in the phantom and the beam line devices during passive carbon-ion radiotherapy with the PHITS code and verified the calculation experimentally. The calculations with the PHITS code agree with the Bonner sphere system measurements within 35 % and the calculated ambient dose equivalents agree well with the measurements within 7 %. We confirmed that the PHITS code has potential ability to evaluate the neutron exposure in carbon-ion radiotherapy. | |||||
