The transition pressurebecomes 125-128 GPa when considering the iron content of melts in a pyrolitic or chondritic mantle, whichis lower than the pressures of the CMB and the ULVZs. Our datashowthe substitution of 12mol% Fe in MgSiO3 glass decreases the VS by ~5.5 %.
