The Debye shield addressed here is expected to be useful for damage evaluation of the target. Here, the Debye shield is the electric-field shield produced by electrons surrounding locally positioned ions, and the TP is the potential created from the electric field near the incident ion’s path (IP). To study the Debye shield formation, the probability (Pset) of secondary electrons escaping the TP was simulated.
