The signaling involves the physical network structure from cell adhesion structure via actin fibers to cell nucleus. To understand the signaling mechanism of mechanotransduction, we focused on the dynamic changes in the morphology of the nucleus, based on the hypothesis that the magnitude and direction of the forces transmitted to the nucleus will change dynamically with actin reorganization in migrating cells.
