The radial dose distribution of high LET ions indicates that high energy is deposited near the incident ion path and that this high energy deposition generates the thermal expansion. The models proposed here should be useful for ion-beam cancer therapy as well as the analysis of this measurement. Further, because many molecules quickly migrate in the target simultaneously with thermal expansion, it is expected to increase damage DNA due to this migration. The method of measuring this thermal expansion is also proposed using quantum sensor etc., 第3回QST国際シンポジウムに参加}, title = {Effect of thermal expansion created by irradiation of heavy ions on DNA damage}, year = {2019} }
