For example, the beam power of the ILC can be 5-17 MW depending of its energy and treating such huge power consumption at the beam dumps is a challenge task as engineering work. We consider a new beam dump using a combination of high power laser and\nplasma. The plasma wake driven by electron or positron beams can decelerate the latter part of a bunch but cannot be done for the front portion of the bunch efficiently.
