Toroidal momentum transport and toroidal rotation physics remain less understood than physics of either heat or particles. Developing a integrated code framework especially for toroidal rotation and the radial electric field, which is strongly linked to rotation, can shed light on their understanding and improve the validity of models through comparisons with JT-60U experiments. Toroidal rotation is mainly governed by the balance between torque sources/sinks and momentum transport.
