The edge cooling and particle source are introduced as a sink term in temperature evolution equation and a source term in the continuity equation. Then transient transport is studied. It is found that (i) the mean central electron temperature increases according to the edge cooling. (ii) the magnetic island located at q=2 rational surface plays an important role as well as non-resonant modes such as m/n=0/0 and 1/0. (iii) re-distribution of electron temperature occurs after switching off source and sink where mesoscale mode (streamer) plays a major role. (iv) Nonlocal transport depends on the central q profile., 19th International Congress on Plasma Physics (ICPP2018)}, title = {Effect of safety factor on the nonlocal transport in tokamak plasmas}, year = {2018} }
