In the beam commissioning phase and common operation phase of A-FNS, total neutron yield and energy spectrum should be measured precisely using a neutron spectrum monitor system. We are working on the design of the neutron spectrum monitor system using activation method to be focused on high energy neutrons, which cause displacement damage and helium production in the material.
