This table-top electron accelerator is considered promising on construction of compact X-ray free electron lasers (XFEL). To achieve coherent x-ray emission from undulator, the electron source should possess femtosecond pulse duration. It is essential to measure the electron pulse duration for optimizing the electron beam quality. Several techniques originated from conventional accelerators have been utilized to characterize the longitudinal information of electrons generated from LWFA. The existing diagnostic techniques have been reviewed here for the development of real-time electron pulse duration measurement., 光・量子ビーム科学合同シンポジウム 2016e}, title = {Pulse duration diagnostics on electron beams from Laser Wakefield Acceleration}, year = {2016} }
