More than one million CT systems are placed in Japan, and can help us find the cause of death. The number of expert radiologists is limited ,who can diagnose on the basis of image and have knowledge of changes on the imaging after death. We have constructed Ai Information Center that links hospitals with ensuring security network system. \nMethods and Materials: The data is sent from the CT equipment of each hospital, and image diagnosis is made in Ai Information Center that centralized administrative control over all of the data. Ai Information Center has radiologists who are proficient in image after death belong to Ai information center.We have put compression transfer system into practical use. It is that, dicom data and accompanying clinical information are sent from Ai gateway system placed at each hospital to Ai Information Center via the internet. \nResults: Ai image information is often more than 300MB, because of the whole body image data. We succeeded in sending image within 10 minutes even from poor line status areas, by compressing these data. \nConclusions: Ai network system is useful for the area where there are many CT devices and a few radiologists like Japan. Similar examination can be conducted anywhere in Japan, and can provide objective information. Ai system will be introducing as a new way of death investigation system., European Society of Radiology}, title = {New investigation system of the cause of death by using Ai (autopsy imaging) system in Japan.}, year = {2011} }
