In this study, rat mammary tumors cells induced by the N-nitroso-N-methylurea were transplanted into the cleared fat pads of hosts, i.e., a normal mammary gland stromal microenvironment to see normalization of tumor cells. Consistent with the report by Maffini et al. (Am. J. Pathol., 167:1405, 2005), phenotypically normal ductal outgrowths were observed at from the injected site of mammary tumor cells at three months after transplantation. Currently, we are screening for epigenetically controlled genes involved in tumor normalization by means of both gene expression and CpG island microarrays., 第69回日本癌学会学術総会}, title = {微小環境による乳がん表現型の正常化においてエピジェネティックに制御される遺伝子の探索}, year = {2010} }
