Gamma-ray detection by an organic material (e.g., 100% pure polyvinyltoluene or a slab of PET bottle) and a NaI(Tl) scintillator is one of the essential goals of the project. To evaluate the concept of the project, an animal-sized diagnostic detector named CROSS-zero was developed. \n\\nIn this workshop, we will chiefly report on the outline of the CROSS project and the performance of the CROSS-zero detector.
