The 2D relative dose distributions were obtained straightforward from the brightness on screen and the flatness of the irradiation field. We plan to use this verification system for the QA process of new particle-therapy research facilities at HIMAC. Therefore, we designed an optimized hardware geometry and developed a more user friendly control part. This system was successfully checked on the prototype scanning system at HIMAC.
