These interactions were predicted by fitting large scale temporal expression profiles to the S-system, a non-linear differential equation model, using an original high speed algorithm. A z-score is calculated for each interaction based on its goodness-of-fit. The database contains nearly 13,000 candidate gene interactions which were predicted based on temporal expression profiles of PMA (Phorbol Myristate Acetate)-treated THP-1 (Human acute monocytic leukemia cell line) of two biological replicas. The expression profiles used for the prediction were high-quality data of qRT-PCR (quantitative Real-Time Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction) provided by the Genome Network Project. The web interface allows the user to identify statistically significant gene interactions with z-scores greater than a cut-off value. DEBE-DB is freely available at http://debe-db.nirs.go.jp/, 第5回 ゲノムネットワークプロジェクト公開シンポジウム}, title = {DEBE-DB (Differential-Equation-Based Edge database): a database of ab initio predicted gene interactions for cell line THP1}, year = {2009} }
