But in less than 10% of all cases in-field local recurrence is ascertained. Additionally, grade 2 adverse reactions in lung or skin were observed in patients less than 5%. Because early assessment of these radioresistance and toxicity is valuable in C-ion RT, non-invasive and accurate biomarkers are required. Using peptidomic approach for serum samples from NSCLC patients, we aimed to discover biomarkers useful for monitoring responses of tumor and normal tissue after C-ion RT. Material and Method: We enrolled 30 NSCLC patients who underwent C-ion RT in our hospital from September, 2006 to August, 2007. Serum samples were collected from these patients before treatment and 1 day and 1, 3, 6 months after treatment. Then we prepared 5muL of serum with magnetic beads and profiled serum peptidome using MALDI-TOF MS( Bruker Daltonics Inc.). Result: Some peaks showed significant changes before and after treatment. Conclusion: These peaks have potentials to be novel biomarkers for monitoring therapeutic response or toxicity., 第67回日本癌学会学術総会}, title = {非小細胞肺癌症例における炭素イオン線治療前後の血清ペプチドーム解析}, year = {2008} }
