We measured tumor growth delay (TGD) of transplanted NFSa tumor and normal skin reaction score (SRS) on C3H. Mice were preconditioned 8 days before irradiation in NIRS, and shipped to irradiation site. They were held on a plastic board under anesthesia, and areas of tumor or depilated skin were irradiated. They were shipped again to Kitasato University in Aomori, and measured TGD and SRS. We measured periods that tumors grown to be 5 times bigger than that at the day of irradiation. It took 5.5 days for unirradiated group, and 10.5 days for 800 Gy irradiated groups. The TGD increased linearly with the dose, and no increment of the tumor volume was observed in some mice when they received 1200 or 1600 Gy. The SRS increased linearly with days, and reached maxima at around 2 weeks after the irradiation. Slight moist desquamation (skin score 3.0) was found at 1600 Gy irradiated group., 日本癌学会第66回総会}, title = {Radiobiological pilot study of synchrotron generated microplaner beam, a possible modality of radiotherapy}, year = {2007} }
