Analyses using tracers for in vivo imaging along with immunohistochemistry revealed that METH, 6-OHDA, and MPTP induced serious loss of dopaminergic terminals and pronounced astrogliosis in the striatum of mouse, rat, and marmoset, respectively, while morphology and number of microglia as well as levels of peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor/recognition site (PBR) were not altered in the same regions. Cuprizone and KA induced a notable increase in PBR levels in the striatum, hippocampus, entorhinal cortex and striatum-nigra, and this alteration was colocalized with severe demyelination. Additional histopathological analyses illustrated a tight correlation of demyelination with significant microgliosis and increased PBR levels, while degeneration of dopaminergic neuron, which is know to project unmyelinated axons, was concomitant with notable astrogliosis and barely detectable microgliosis. These findings delineate two distinct triggers of glial activation, one inducing both astroglial and microglial responses in close association with demyelination and the other being exclusively accompanied with augmented astroglial activity.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10005_description_6":{"attribute_name":"会議概要(会議名, 開催地, 会期, 主催者等)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"第21回日本薬物動態学会年会","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ki, Hin"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676037","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Higuchi, Makoto"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676038","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Maeda, Jun"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676039","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Inaji, Motoki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676040","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Okauchi, Takashi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676041","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Zhang, Ming-Rong"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676042","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Suzuki, Kazutoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676043","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Andou, Kiyoshi"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676044","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Suhara, Tetsuya"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676045","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"季 斌","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676046","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"樋口 真人","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676047","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"前田 純","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676048","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"稲次 基希","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676049","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"岡内 隆","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676050","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"張 明栄","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676051","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"鈴木 和年","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676052","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"安東 潔","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676053","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"須原 哲也","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"676054","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference object","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_c94f"}]},"item_title":"Distinct glial responses to diverse chemical neurotoxicants in the striatum as monitored by imaging agents","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Distinct glial responses to diverse chemical neurotoxicants in the striatum as monitored by imaging agents"}]},"item_type_id":"10005","owner":"1","path":["28"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2007-03-26"},"publish_date":"2007-03-26","publish_status":"0","recid":"68886","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Distinct glial responses to diverse chemical neurotoxicants in the striatum as monitored by imaging agents"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T20:20:58.303221+00:00"}
