The nationwide survey about the use of radiopharmaceuticals was performed by using questionnaires in 2003 to estimate the frequencies of examinations and doses of patients. For the survey, 677 of 1,225 nuclear medicine facilities and 30 of 55 PET facilities have replied the questionnaires. The estimations based on the results showed that there were more than 1.6 million cases of nuclear medicine, and about 0.12 million PET examinations in the year. The ages of patients were widely distributed from aged 0 to over 100 years old., The 4th Japan-Korea Joint Meeting on Medical Physics and The 5th Asia-Oceania Congress of Medical Physics}, title = {Nationwide Survey Data on Annual Uses of Radiopharmaceuticals on Nuclear Medicine in Japan}, year = {2005} }
