In staging acceleration, several separate-function stages are employed as standard radio-frequency linear accelerators. We start experiments with two-stages: an electron injector and a booster accelerator. Because the beam quality even with state-of-art LWFA is not sufficient for XFELs, we need further improvement as well as reproducibility. To mitigate this issue we consider beam matching between stages as indispensable. We are developing plasma monitors and electron beams monitors.
