[Method] Radium targets of 100–500 μCi (nearly equal to the unit of μg) added with carrier calcium were prepared as carbonate by precipitation on a silicon carbide filter. Irradiations were performed with 18 MeV protons at 3 μA for 3 h. The Ac-225 product, purified by the following filtration, radio-colloid formation, reconstitution, and column separation, was obtained in a dried form.
