The locally inversed density profile appears in a hollow density profile when gas-puff or pellets are injected. Understanding of the micro-instabilities in the hollow density profile is essential to the control of high density plasmas in ITER and/or DEMO plasmas. Using a delta-f electromagnetic gyrokinetic simulation code dFEFI, we investigate a local dynamics of particle transport in the inversed density region. We compare the obtained simulation results to those obtained from the theory of the ion-mixing- mode including effects of toroidal curvature., Joint meeting of 26th International Toki Conference and 11th Asia Plasma & Fusion Association Conference}, title = {Simulation study on Particle Transport in the inversed-density-gradient of tokamak edge}, year = {2017} }
