 note = {The MHD-kinetic hybrid code MEGA is used to analyze the stability of beam-driven JT-60SA ramp-up plasmas with respect to nonresonant and resonant instabilities. Mode structures, growth rates, saturation levels and modifications of the plasma profiles are computed for several cases. The observations are interpreted using MHD stability criteria and orbit-based resonance analysis.
