The purpose of this study was to compare the uptake regions of these two PET tracers with those genetically responding to hypoxia as a gold standard in mouse xenografts.\nMethods\nHuman colon carcinoma HCT116 cells were stably transfected with a sodium/iodide (NIS) reporter gene controlled under 12 hypoxia responsive elements (HRE), and were injected subcutaneously into the mice. Three weeks later, dual autoradiography was performed using mixture of 64Cu-ATSM/125I– (n = 20) or 18F-FMISO/125I– (n = 12) after housing under hypoxia (10% O2, 12 hours, n = 16) or normoxia (n = 16). The uptake regions were identified objectively by cluster analyses, and the overlapped regions were quantified as percentages to 125I– uptake regions.\nResults\nThe both dual autoradiographic images showed considerable areas of double tracer accumulation of the hypoxia PET tracer and 125I–. However, the overlapped regions of 18F-FMISO and 125I– uptake were significantly larger than those of 64Cu-ATSM and 125I– uptake under normoxia (54.6+-12.7% vs. 32.4+-14.7%, p = 0.008) and hypoxia (71.7+-15.3% vs. 41.9+-14.6%, p = 0.003).\nConclusions\nThe considerable overlapped regions in the both dual autoradiography supported the previous reports that the tumor uptake of 64Cu-ATSM and 18F-FMISO were both related to the resistance to therapy. However, the intratumoral distribution of 18F-FMISO closer to the genetically hypoxia responsive regions suggested that 18F-FMISO PET might be more suitable than 64Cu-ATSM PET for planning hypoxia-targeted intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT).","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10005_description_6":{"attribute_name":"会議概要(会議名, 開催地, 会期, 主催者等)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"SNMMI 2013 Annual Meeting","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Takeuchi, Yasuto"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641020","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Inubushi, Masayuki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641021","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Nan, Jin Yong"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641022","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Murai, Chika"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641023","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Xu, Hua"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641024","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hata, Hironobu"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641025","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Kitagawa, Yoshimasa"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641026","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Saga, Tsuneo"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641027","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"et.al"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641028","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"竹内 康人","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641029","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"犬伏 正幸","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641030","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"金 永男","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641031","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"村井 知佳","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641032","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"徐 華","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641033","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"佐賀 恒夫","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"641034","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference object","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_c94f"}]},"item_title":"Comparison of intratumoral distribution of 18F-FMISO and 64Cu-ATSM with regions genetically responding to hypoxia by quantitative cluster analyses","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Comparison of intratumoral distribution of 18F-FMISO and 64Cu-ATSM with regions genetically responding to hypoxia by quantitative cluster analyses"}]},"item_type_id":"10005","owner":"1","path":["29"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2013-06-19"},"publish_date":"2013-06-19","publish_status":"0","recid":"65048","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Comparison of intratumoral distribution of 18F-FMISO and 64Cu-ATSM with regions genetically responding to hypoxia by quantitative cluster analyses"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T21:04:39.353601+00:00"}
