BI on MRI was assessed according to the Late Effects of Normal Tissue-Subjective, Objective, Management, Analytic criteria. The correlations of the clinical and dosimetric parameters with the incidence of >grade 2 BI were retrospectively analyzed using MRI.\nResults: The median follow-up period was 67 months (range: 24-152 months). The 5-year actuarial likelihoods of >grade 2 BI were 24.1%. Dose-volume histogram analysis revealed that the percentages of brain volume receiving more than 20, 30, 40, and 50 GyE (V50 ) were significantly higher in patients with >grade 2 BI than in those with <grade 1 BI. On univariate analysis, V40 and V50 were found to be correlated with the development of >grade 2 BI.
