To solve this, the advantage of 4DCT to\nquantify organ motion is beyond the conventional 3DCT ability. As a result, local control probability could be\nimproved. The patient will get a significantly inferior treatment with greater complications without 4DCT for tumor\nlocalization, albeit that, it is important to clarify the radiation dose from 4DCT. Here we quantified the radiation dose\nusing the anthropomorphic phantom in helical 4DCT scan. TLDs are inserted into the phantom anatomical positions.\nFor thoracic and abdomen scan, the effective doses were 33.1 mSv and 27.5 mSv, respectively. The phantom received a\nfew mSv of the X-ray scattering over the scan region, head and upper lobe of the lung as an example.
