But local recurrence occurred in nearly 10% of all the treated lesions, and about 3% of the patients after CIRT develop radiation pneumonitis to need treatment. In this study,we aimed to explore that reflect the effect of CIRT on NSCLC and useful for early diagnosis of local recurrence or severe radiation pneumonitis. Methods and Materials:We enrolled 36 NSCLC patients who underwent CIRT. Serum samples were collected from these patients before treatment and 1 day and 1, 3, 6 months after treatment. We then prepared 5 µL of serum with magnetic beads and profiled serum proteom using MALDI-TOF MS. Results:We obtained 83 peaks with WCXbeads,79 peaks with IMAC-Cu beads and 83 peaks with C8 beads. Nine peaks showed significant differences(p<0.05) after the therapy. We identified the 2861 Da peak as a fibrinogen alph chain fragment. The 2861 Da peptide was upregulated soon after irradiation and then declined immediately, and this change was dependent on the dose per fraction.
