Mouse cultured and frozen ES cells (-80 degree in C) were irradiated by X-ray, Fe and C ion heavy particles. The cells were plated and numbers of colony were counted. The mouse ES cells were most sensitive to Fe ion particles at 0-1Gy of exposure and carbon gave moderate effect to ES cells.
