Materials and Method: We enrolled patients with non-small cell lung cancer underwent carbon ion radiotherapy at Research Center Hospital for Charged Particle Therapy in NIRS after September, 2006. We treated each 5mu L serum samples of 16 patients (eight adenocarcinoma and eight squamous cell caricinoma) before treatment and 1 day and 1,3,6,9 months after treatment by ClinProtTM system( Bruker Daltonics company) of Matrix assisted laser disorption/ionization time-of-fight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS) and analyzed each peak spectra. Result: The significant changes of peaks were observed in all cases after the therapy. The changes of the peaks showed different patterns depending on histological subtypes. We also found the intensity of some peaks decrease with time after the therapy, especially some intensity of those peaks had already decreased in a day after the therapy. It was suggested that these peaks could become biomarkers in regard to tumor response after the therapy, for which it is difficult to be evaluated with imaging modalities after the therapy., H19年度HIMAC共同利用研究成果発表会}, title = {非小細胞肺癌の炭素イオン線治療前後におけるプロテオーム変化の解析}, year = {2008} }
