Doses in space flight depend on various factors such as: solar cycle phase, the spacecraft orbit parameters (orbit inclination, altitude, etc.), helio- and geophysical parameters, spacecraft shielding. For estimation of the radiation onboard the spacecraft in space flights, it is necessary to obtain the data on dose distribution in real space flight conditions at various locations of the spacecraft.\nThis contribution deals with the experimental studies of the distribution of absorbed dose and dose equivalent in different compartments of the Russian Segment of the International Space Station (ISS). The experiment was performed from January 29 to October 24 in 2004 as a part of BRADOS II space experiment. Both passive and active detectors were used for the measurement of radiation field onboard of ISS.\nTwo types of passive detectors were exposed inside 5 SPD containers located at various positions inside the Russian Service Module. Luminescent detectors (including thermoluminescent and radiophotoluminescent glass detectors) were used to measure absorbed doses, particularly from low-LET particles and photons. Track etch detectors (CR-39) were used to measure the LET spectra, absorbed dose, and dose equivalents from particles with LET(H2O) >5 keV/um (including proton recoils and non-elastic heavy charged particle secondaries from interactions with neutrons and protons). Results from both detectors were combined together to yield averaged total values of absorbed doses and dose equivalents.\nDistribution of absorbed doses and dose equivalents measured with passive detectors, as well as LET spectra of particle fluxes, are presented as the function of detectors' position (shielding thickness). The variation of dose characteristics for different locations has been observed to be up to factor of 1.4. The data measured with passive detectors are also compared with the data obtained by means of active instruments (R-16, DB-8).","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10005_description_6":{"attribute_name":"会議概要(会議名, 開催地, 会期, 主催者等)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"37th COSPAR Scientific Assembly","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Uchihori, Yukio"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"618813","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"内堀 幸夫","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"618814","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference object","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_c94f"}]},"item_title":"Spatial distribution of absorbed dose and dose equivalent at various locations in ISS Russian Service Module","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Spatial distribution of absorbed dose and dose equivalent at various locations in ISS Russian Service Module"}]},"item_type_id":"10005","owner":"1","path":["29"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2008-07-22"},"publish_date":"2008-07-22","publish_status":"0","recid":"62637","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Spatial distribution of absorbed dose and dose equivalent at various locations in ISS Russian Service Module"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T21:28:29.551701+00:00"}
