Both 99mTc MDP bone scintigrapy (B.S.) and Methionine PET imaging were done within one month interval. Results were confirmed by follow up (B.S.).\n Results : 42 bone lesions were detected with W.B.PET. 7 were classified as high possibility metastatic with only 2 (28.6%) confirmed by late B.S. to be metastatic in comparison to 6 out of 35 low possibility lesions (17.4%). 26 lesions were detected by B.S. 11 lesions as high and 15 as low possibility metastatic, respectively. 9 of the 11 high possibility lesions (81.8%) and 5 of the 15 low possibility (33.3%) were found to be truly metastatic. \nConclusion : Low detection by PET is believed to be due to the non-ideal W.B. imaging so the best time is feasible for static imaging dedicated for HIMAC therapy evaluation.
