The eumelanin contents in the neonatal epidermis and dermis derived from mutant mice (recessive yellow, C57BL/10JHir-e/e) at the extension locus were greatly reduced compared to those derived from wild-type mice (black, C57BL/10JHir-E/E) at that locus. On the other hand, the pheomelanin contents in the epidermis and dermis derived from e/e mice were much greater than in E/E mice. Similarly, the eumelanin content in hairs derived from 5-week-old e/e mice was greatly reduced compared to that derived from E/E mice, whereas the pheomelanin content in e/e mice was much greater than in E/E mice. Surprisingly, the contents of eumelanin and pheomelanin in hairs derived from female e/e mice were higher than those from male e/e mice. These sex differences in the contents of eumelanin and pheomelanin were not observed in hairs derived from E/E mice. In contrast, there were no sex differences in the contents of eumelanin and pheomelanin in the epidermis and dermis derived from E/E and e/e mice. Similarly, the contents of 5-S-cysteinyldopa (5-S-CD), precursor of pheomelanin, in the plasma derived from female E/E and e/e mice did not differ from those in male E/E and e/e mice. These results suggest that the recessive yellow gene decreases the eumelanin synthesis and increases pheomelanin synthesis, and, in addition, the gene controls the melanin synthesis by the influence of sex hormone.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10005_description_6":{"attribute_name":"会議概要(会議名, 開催地, 会期, 主催者等)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"第19回日本色素細胞学会","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Hirobe, Tomohisa"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"606086","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Wakamatsu, Kazumasa"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"606087","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"Ito, Shosuke"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"606088","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"廣部 知久","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"606089","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"conference object","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_c94f"}]},"item_title":"THE CONTENTS OF EUMELANIN AND PHEOMELANIN IN FEMALE RECESSIVE YELLOW MICE ARE GREATER IN HAIRS BUT NOT IN THE EPIDERMIS AND DERMIS","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"THE CONTENTS OF EUMELANIN AND PHEOMELANIN IN FEMALE RECESSIVE YELLOW MICE ARE GREATER IN HAIRS BUT NOT IN THE EPIDERMIS AND DERMIS"}]},"item_type_id":"10005","owner":"1","path":["29"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2005-12-06"},"publish_date":"2005-12-06","publish_status":"0","recid":"61204","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["THE CONTENTS OF EUMELANIN AND PHEOMELANIN IN FEMALE RECESSIVE YELLOW MICE ARE GREATER IN HAIRS BUT NOT IN THE EPIDERMIS AND DERMIS"],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T21:45:04.668412+00:00"}
