Also, it is important to measre detailed spatial LET distribution for irradiation field1). Therefore our ultimate purpose is to measure carbon beam quality n microscopic region by using the miniaturized SI semiconductor(active area 2mm) at lateral position to beam direction. In order to be able to use SI detector as LET detector, it must be clear about difference of LET distributions between Si detector and PC(a parallel plate proportional counter) by comparing both LET distributions with placing them on beam line. Both signals obtained are simulataneously triggerd by the self coincidence.
