The first is the LWFA of electrons injected due to wave-breaking on a shock-wave produced by a laser prepulse in a He gas-jet. A way to overcome the problem of broad energy spread is to utilize the self-injection of plasma electrons. This method is proposed and studied numerically. We also study effect of plasma and laser pulse parameters on the duration of the accelerated electrons. Such processes as the relativistic wave-breaking, plasma post-relaxation an so on may lead to considerable increase in the bunch duration, even to picosecond range.
