Effect of antimony on the repair of radiation induced DNA double strand breaks (DNA-dsb) was studied in Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells. CHO cells were treated with antimony trichloride (SbCl3) or antimony potassium tartrate (APT) for 2h. Then DNA-dsb was induced by gamma-irradiation at a dose of 40Gy and the degree of DNA-dsb was determined by gel electrophoresis immediately after irradiation or following 30-min repair period. DNA-dsb repair was completely inhibited by exposure to 0.4mM SbCl3 and the ability of proliferation was sustained at the same concentration. The ability of proliferation was low by exposure to 0.2mM APT, but DNA-dsb repair was not inhibited., 日本放射線影響学会第44回大会}, title = {アンチモンによる放射線誘発DNA-dsbの修復阻害}, year = {2001} }
