This methodological advancement has enabled us to address hypotheses that were previously inconceivable, such as a causal relationship between patterns of neural activity, cognitive processes and complex human behavior. In addition to the quest for localization of function, another approach to study the human mind has been grown by examining molecular mechanisms, particularly in clinical domains. An emerging emphasis is now placed on integrating multiple levels of neural responses from molecular system to neural response/circuit – to produce adaptive behavior, paralleling the social world in which we live.\n\\nIntegration of different disciplines has also borne fruit in the field of cognitive neuroscience by the convergence of perspectives (e.g. neuroscience, social psychology, economics, ethology). This new wave of research has moved past basic work aimed at understanding brain function toward examining the neural underpinnings of issues critically important to humanity. This is admittedly a lofty goal, but cognitive neuroscience has already made significant contributions across several spheres of society, such as the integration of cognitive neuroscience and the law, as an illuminating example.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_access_right":{"attribute_name":"アクセス権","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_access_right":"metadata only access","subitem_access_right_uri":"http://purl.org/coar/access_right/c_14cb"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"山田, 真希子"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"584516","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"山田 真希子","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"584517","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Integrating cognitive neuroscience: from molecules to neural responses, to society.","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Integrating cognitive neuroscience: from molecules to neural responses, to society."}]},"item_type_id":"10004","owner":"1","path":["11"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2013-12-25"},"publish_date":"2013-12-25","publish_status":"0","recid":"58385","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Integrating cognitive neuroscience: from molecules to neural responses, to society."],"weko_creator_id":"1","weko_shared_id":-1},"updated":"2023-05-15T22:16:30.623934+00:00"}
