In this report, the polarity correction factors for ten commercially available plane-parallel ionization chambers were investigated as a function of mean energy. The factors was measured at phantom surface for ten chambers and depths along depth-dose curves for five chambers of nominal 4, 6, 9, 12 and 15 MeV electron beams. The polarity correction factors for all chambers as phantom surface were 0.5% or less in mean electron energy range of 3.5 to 14.7 MeV. The factors for five chambers in water were also shown to increase substantially with mean energy of about 3 MeV or less.}, pages = {51--55}, title = {Polarity effects of commercially plane-parallel ionization chambers in therapeutic electron dosimetry}, volume = {12}, year = {2007} }
