This year we focused on the Elkind recovery curve using human mesothelioma cell line induced by the split-dose irradiation of the short-term intervals ranging from 0 to 165min in order to provide biological data for analyzing heavy-ion sensitivity using the microdosimetric kinetic model (MKM) and the cell-killing effect in normal human and tumor cells irradiated with 350MeV/n oxygen ions to investigate the possibility of other ion species except for carbon ions. The split-dose irradiation of the short-term intervals was performed to divide the doses, which obtained around 5% of the surviving fraction, equally into two fractions at the defined time intervals. The obtained data showed that the split-dose recovery in mesothelioma cells was lower than that in other human tumor cells and almost the same level with normal human cells. Using these biological data we will try to analyze heavy-ion radiosensitivity and repair kinetics by the MKM. The cell-killing effects induced by 350MeV/n oxygen ions were a little bit smaller than those by 290MeV/n carbon ions with the similar LET. The data show the possibility of heavy-ion radiotherapy using other ion species except for carbon ions.}, pages = {116--117}, title = {重粒子線分割照射における培養細胞の生物効果に関する研究(2) 異なる核種のイオンビーム分割照射効果とElkind修復を加味した細胞致死効果のモデル化}, year = {2016} }
