For CHO and HR-deficient 51D1 cells, exposure to iron-ions yielded the lowest cell survival, followed by carbon-ions and then X-rays. NHEJ-deficient xrs6 cells showed no difference ( or small) of cell survival for X-, carbon- and iron-ion irradiation under oxic condition. OER values for 51D1 were smaller than that for CHO and xrs6 cells. Tumors of SCCVII cells in one group of mice were made hypoxic by clamping before irradiation with carbon and iron-ions of the LET range from 15 to 200 keV/µm, whereas those in another group received irradiation without clamping. Mice received either single-dose or two fractionated doses with a fixed interval of 24 h for 2 days. Cell survivals were determined by in vivo-in vitro colony formation. We could see the repair/recovery from the damage from carbon-ions under both oxic and hypoxic conditions. However, we couldn’t see the difference between single-dose and two fractionated doses for iron-ion irradiation under oxic and hypoxic conditions.}, pages = {149--150}, title = {重粒子線による有・低酸素環境下でのRBEならびにOER(12J468)}, year = {2013} }
