The system consists (1) SEM beam intensity monitor to accumulate exposure dose during the sample exposure, (2) a standard ion-chamber or CR39 to calibrate the SEM output versus ionization dose or fluence at the sample position, (3) a sample transport XYZ-stage system, which is used positioning (XY-axis) the samples or ionization chamber etc., and also used as an energy degrader (Z-axis) to measure the Bragg-peak or transfer samples to an defined depth in the Bragg-peak, (4) a beam shutter which controls the exposure, and (5) a PC system control computer. The beam uniformity at sample position was better than 80 % to the center within 10 mm diameter area when 20 mm beam extract window was used.
