Asynchronous human normal fibroblasts (NB1RGB) were irradiated with Si ion beam (LET = 250 keV/um) in monolayer, and were incubated for various time with or without BrdU. The percentage of G2/M phase cells which is monitored by flow cytometer increased with incubation time after irradiation. The maximum value increased with the irradiation dose.
