We measured chromosomal aberrations in peripheral blood lymphocytes before, during and after the radiation treatment by using the novel technique of Interphase Chromosome Painting. Premature chromosome condensation(PCC) was induced in stimulated lymphocytes by incubation in calyculin A, and slides were hybridized in situ with whole-chromosome DNA probes specific for human chromosome 2 and 4 (FISH). Chromosome aberrations decreased after the end of radiotherapy. The number of fragment which is one type of chromosome aberrations decreased after treatment, but the number of reciprocal exchange did not decreased. In lung cancer patients treated with carbon-ion, chromosome aberrations increased as tumor dose and were dependent on target volumes. These results suggest that Interphase Chromosome Painting (PCC+FISH) is an efficient tool for biodosimetry of radiation treatment.}, pages = {25--26}, title = {PCC+FISH 法を用いた新しい感受性試験の研究}, volume = {2001}, year = {2001} }
