The purpose is to irradiate a large quantity of cell culture under hypoxic condition for DNA product analysis. Suspension culture of human leukemia HL-60 was incubated under the flow of the mixture of 95% N2 and 5% CO2 for 40 minutes. After incubation cells were led to irradiation chambers directly with no contact to atmosphere, and then irradiated with carbon and silicon ions. Gas flow was maintained during irradiation. LET dependence of OER for cell inactivation was obtained by using D10, a dose to give 10% survival. OER began to decrease in the higher LET region than 50 keV/um, and went down to 1.2 at the LET of 300 keV/um. The results were very similar to the previous results for attached cells such as Chinese Hamster V79, indicating that the present system is useful for hypoxic irradiation of suspended cells.}, pages = {121--122}, title = {重粒子線による細胞致死作用における間接作用の評価}, volume = {2001}, year = {2001} }
